Can I get a refund?
No, there are no refunds for Allrunners Events. If an event has to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances then your entry will be automatically applied to the rescheduled date without charge. However, if the event has to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organisers control, there are no refunds
Transactions and other charges
We do not charge you any more than the entry fee, no credit card chargers or other admin fees. Your entry fee includes all such fees and any insurance we require.
Furthermore, we don't charge you an extra on race day either, such as Car Parking or use of other facilities.
However, refreshments and food is often available to purchase at our events, unless it clearly states that this is included.
Chargebacks and failed payments
If after you've registered for an event, your payment subsequently gets returned, any charges incurred will be passed onto the person who completed the transaction. This normally occurs with Credit Cards and sometimes with Debit Cards.
Please beware that manually reversing the transaction in PayPal or with your bank will incur charges and breech our registration policy
7 days prior to the event
If this happens 7 days prior to race day and you wish to keep you place in the event, you must pay the charge and make arrangements to pay the entry fee.
If you no longer want your place, you will still need to pay the charges.
Less than 7 days
Full payment, i.e. entry fee plus charges will be due, irrelevant of whether you take part in the event or not.
Transfers, Withdrawals & Refunds
How I transfer my place to someone else?
Transfers can be made by contacting the organisers, at least 7 days prior to the event who feel there is enough time to do so. The person whose place it is, must contact the events organiser for a transfer link, including the name and email address of the person being transferred. The new registrant will then be sent an email with a link to following and to complete the transfer.
If there is a difference in entry fee, e.g. original entrant was affiliated and the person to whom the entry is being transferred to, isn’t, then a £2 surcharge will be due at time of registration.
Can I defer my place to next year or to another event?
No, there are no deferment options except the Stroud Trail Marathon (see details), so if you can’t attend, you may consider transferring your place to someone else.
I can’t run in this race now. How do I withdraw?
If you wish to withdraw from the event please inform us as soon as possible. In accordance with our event policy, we can't offer you a refund, but we can offer you the good feel factor that someone else wishing to participate may now be able to do so.
This is only relevant, if there is more than one event option on the same day.
You can downgrade your entry from the Stroud Trail Marathon to the Half or Quarter Marathon up to 3 days before the event date. In order to do this, please get in touch via the online contact form.
Stroud Trail Marathon Deferment
If you wish to defer your Stroud Trail Marathon place to next year, please get in contact at least 14 days before the event date
All rules are at the final discretion of the Race Director/Referee. No challenges will be permitted.
Race Number, Timing Chip & Medical Information
Runner bib number must be worn on the front of the body and must be easily visible at all times.
In addition to medical information provided by the runner during the online registration process, runners must fully disclose at race registration, changes to existing medical conditions and/or prescription medications being taken
Out on the Route
You should familiarise yourself with the route and where uncertain, contact the events team to clarify any issues before entering. You can download and print the map of the route. Runners must follow the marked course at all times. Runners may not store supplies of any kind along the trail.
Littering of any kind will result in immediate disqualification. Runners caught littering will be banned from all future Allrunners events. Please respect the natural beauty of our environment and the right of everyone to enjoy them. Littering will threaten our use in the future of the race
Other users on the route
If the any part of the route is on public highways, most likely other users have the right of way. Please be aware of vehicles and other people whilst you are running and be as polite and courteous as possible to them, making way when necessary. You do not have priority over any other users out on the course and most will be totally unaware of the event taking place
Completing the Race – Disclaimer
Each runner must complete the entire course under his or her own power. Runners compete in this event entirely at their own risk including but not limited to road crossings, river crossings, level crossings and all other hazards of the trail. There will be a full waiver to sign at registration. Runners refusing to sign the waiver will not be permitted to start
Support or Unofficial Runners
No Pacers or support runners are permitted in any of our events and if a runner is seen with such, will be disqualified and be banned from taking part in future future events
At the Venue
Runners are responsible for the actions of their supporters/spectators and the runner will be held accountable
Unable to complete the Race
Any runner who is unable to finish the race must personally inform the nearest Marshal or Checkpoint of his/her decision to withdraw and hand over the race Bib and Chip. This serves as official notice of a runner’s withdrawal from the race. Runners who leave the course without turning in their number will be classified as “lost,” initiating search and rescue, for which the runner will be responsible of any cost incurred unnecessarily
Marshals and Road Crossings
You should always follow the instructions given to you from Event Marshals. All road junctions will be marshalled or suitable signed, but marshals are not there to help you cross the junction and are by law not allowed to interfere with road traffic. You cross all roads (this includes Junctions even though you are on the main road/pavement) at your own risk, so please look left, look right and again before crossing the road/junction

You on Race Day
We want you to have a great running experience, however, if you feel unwell before the start please seek medical advice, do not take part or or if you still wish to take part then please check your fitness and look at www.runnersmedicalresource.com for information and advice related to running events
Be prepared – Weather
Weather can be unpredictable, so please consider shoes as well as appropriate clothing for the terrain and weather conditions.
We aim to give you an indication of the weather to expect for the event about 3-4 days before, but remember it's a forecast
Previous Medical Conditions
If you have a known medical condition not declared upon event application or a change in a previous condition that you feel may affect you during this event, then you are advised to inform us as organisers of this change/addition
Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive, park and register. The last thing you want on event morning is to panic because you are running late (pun intended). We would suggest one hour before your event start time
Although we aim to give you as much of the safety briefing in advance via email or the website, we will always have a short safety briefing before all event start.
You'll need to know where this is taking place, usually at the Start Line and when, normally approx. 10mins before race start of the event
The use of headphones or music players
The Race permit for our event doesn't forbid the wearing of personal headphones/earphones to listen to iPods, MP3 players, smartphones or other personal music players whilst participating in the event. However, with the sounds of nature in this part of the Cotswolds, it would seem a shame to wear headphones
If however you choose to participate in the event using such a device you accept full responsibility for your own safety and for the safety of anyone else who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
NOTE: You must remove your ear plugs completely when approaching a Road Junction or Crossing and you will be disqualified if you don’t adhere to this request
Our Event permit is issued by ARC. Remember to familiarise yourself with the Association of Running Club rules before the event, information can be found at http://runningclubs.org.uk/ARC_rules.pdf
All of our marshals are there to help you, so if you have any issue during the event please let them know
Allrunners Events are all timed used our own electronic timing system from RaceResult, Germany, which means the following
Attaching your Race Number
Your Bib, which is has your timing chip stuck to the back of it, must be worn on the front of either your vest or shorts and must be visible at all times. If covered up it may not get registered on the Start/Finish line and could result in no finishing time
Crossing the Timing Mat
Once the starting gun has been sounded, you ‘ll need to cross the Chip Timing Mat at the Start Line. Please be careful as it is raised slightly off the ground and more so in a trail events. Ensure you remain inside the marked area, in order to cross the mat, otherwise you may not get recorded.
If you have a problem or need advise please ask a Marshal who will assist you
When approaching the finish line, please ensure you aware of the timing mat and cross it. This will register your bib and give you your result
Lost or damaged bib
If you have lost or believe you have damaged your bib, then cross the finish as normal and contact the nearest Marshal, who will make a not of your finish. At some events, results are displayed live, so checking the screen first may help solve the problem. Photos at the finish line are usually taken, but if you keep your time and perhaps note down another runner’s number who finished near you, then getting your results will be easier
