Dirty, marshy, soggy, swampy ….

January 11, 2015 By Simon Barnes

Cranham Corner-Buckholt-Sheepcombe

On a very chilly, but calm Sunday morning from the Royal William at Cranham a beautiful sunset was occurring, especially appreciated after the gale force winds over the last few days.  Several other Cotswold Allrunners Sunday morning groups were out and about taking a look a the top of the famous Cheese Rollers Hill, (Coopers Hill) and following parts of the Cotswolds Way.

The route featured below, was a group led by myself took, which took a more circular approach, following Buckholt Woods into Cranham Wood and on to Overtown Farm and now following some of the Daddy Beast (Part of the Cranham Beast weekend).  Continuing up Saltridge Hill, into Saltridge Wood before making our way back up towards the Royal William at Cranham.
